Understand response pressure

Explain who sees raw responses and how they are processed. IP addresses, contact details or a code key may make “fully anonymous” inaccurate. Separate identifying details where feasible and check local privacy rules.
Account for remaining bias
A pilot can reveal uncomfortable or confusing items. A “prefer not to answer” option may be appropriate but creates missing responses. Report protective steps and why self-reports may still be biased.
Final submission context
Formal details can feel like a separate writing task, but they matter just as much for a printed submission. Anything missing, misplaced or inconsistently formatted in the document will also appear in the bound copy.
